Aneroid Lake

Six miles, rise of 3000 feet. Trail heavily worn by horse traffic, day packers, and trail runners. Nice meadow and campsite opportunities at the 4.6 mile mark. More people than mosquitos so arrive early or miss out on a good campsite at the lake.

One of many varieties of moths and butterflies seen on this trip. Raspberries were ripe or nearly ripe, huckleberries were 1-2 weeks gone.
